Zeiss Kinevo® 900 Robotic Visualization System
Plans to continue to expand neurosurgical capabilities at Morristown Medical Center include the addition of the Zeiss Kinevo® 900 Robotic Visualization System. The Zeiss Kinevo 900 is the most advanced system of its kind, incorporating fluorescent imaging of a tumor with Stealth Navigation 3D images and giving neurosurgeons all of the information they need with a “heads-up display” during surgery. The Zeiss microscope also allows for ICG angiography to view the function of surrounding blood vessels, and a 3D widescreen exoscope for teaching purposes. The robotic features of the microscope make it a next-generation tool not only for brain tumor surgeons but for all microsurgeons including spine surgeons, plastic surgeons and head and neck surgeons.
The Need: $800,000
