

Philippe Généreux, MD is the medical director of the Structural Heart Program at Morristown Medical Center and has served as the primary or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials and has published more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the Principal Investigator of the EARLY TAVR trial and the PROGRESS trial, two major studies in the field of aortic valve disease. For the last three years, Dr. Généreux has been named one of the world’s most highly cited researchers by the Clarivate™ Web of Science™ Group.

Linda D. Gillam, MD is the Dorothy and Lloyd Huck chair for the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine for Morristown Medical Center and the medical director of the Cardiovascular Service Line for Morristown Medical Center and Atlantic Health System. She completed her cardiology fellowship training at the University of Toronto and Massachusetts General Hospital and served as past president of the American Society of Echocardiography and of the National Board of Echocardiography. As a former member of the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Gillam received the organization’s highest award, Master of the American College of Cardiology.

Benjamin S. van Boxtel, MD is the director of the Atlantic Aortic Center which was established at Morristown Medical Center three years ago to offer complex surgical treatment for patients with aortic diseases such as aortic aneurysms and aortic dissection. This includes patients with connective tissue disorders and congenital heart anomalies such as bicuspid aortic valve disease. His repertoire of procedures includes aortic valve repair, valve-sparing root replacements and both open and endovascular aortic arch repair. He also started the Ross program last year and is one of few surgeons in the country who performs this highly technical procedure which restores normal survival to young patients with aortic stenosis. Dr. van Boxtel also has special expertise in the septal myectomy operation for the treatment of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.
