Organize an Event Fundraiser: Many people enjoy hosting fundraisers to benefit Morristown Medical Center; some, in fact, have made it an annual undertaking. Whether you’re interested in doing something at your home, in your community or at a local school, organizing an event is a great way to help the medical center provide life-saving treatment and compassionate care to patients of all ages. Each year, the Foundation board of trustees recognizes one community event fundraiser with its Friend of Philanthropy Award. Candidates for the award have raised $10,000 or more through an event in the previous year and donated it to Morristown Medical Center.
