Tribute Gifts

1.  How do I make a gift in honor or in memory of someone?
The fastest and easiest way to make a tribute gift is to give online and designate whether the gift is "In Honor of" or "In Memory of" on the form. At your request, we will send a note that a gift has been made (without specifying the amount) to the person being honored or to the family of the person being memorialized. We will also send you an acknowledgment that the gift has been received.

Click here to make a gift online.

Or, if you prefer, you may mail a check to the Foundation with a note indicating the name of the person you are honoring or memorializing, as well as the name and address of anyone who should receive an acknowledgment of your generous donation. Send your contribution and note to the following address:

Foundation for Morristown Medical Center
475 South Street
Morristown, NJ 07960

2.  How can I encourage others to give in honor or in memory of someone?
You can send them the above response and encourage them to make a gift. Or you can create a customized fundraising page to rally support for Morristown Medical Center to mark a special occasion like a birthday, bar mitzvah, or anniversary or to honor a loved one. On the page, you can tell your story and upload pictures and then share your page with friends and family. Click here to get started.

3.  How can I recognize a caregiver at the hospital?
Though our Healing Hands program. Simply make a gift to the Foundation in honor of one – or more – of the staff members who cared for you or a loved one and include a personal message of thanks.

4.  Will you notify the person I’m honoring?
Yes. We deliver these messages and a Healing Hands lapel pin to the honorees, who are also recognized on the Foundation website and in other communications.

5.  Will you disclose the amount I am giving?
No. Donation amounts are not shared.

Matching Gifts

1.  How do I know if my employer will match my gift?
Your employer’s Human Resources office will be able to tell you or visit http://www.matchinggifts.com/mmhf/ for a quick check.

2.  How do I make a matching gift?
First follow the matching gift link above and type in your company's name in the box provided. If your company is listed, a link to the forms you need is often provided. Otherwise, obtain a matching gift form from your employer’s Human Resources office, complete what the company requests (typically your name, gift amount and the date the gift was made) and send it to us with your check or soon after. We complete the necessary information and send it to your employer. When the matching gift is received we will notify you. Please note that some companies process matching gifts quarterly so it can take up to three months for the gift process to be completed.
