On June 8, the harmonious voices of the Newark Boys Chorus School lifted spirits first at Carol G. Simon Cancer Center during the weekly Music in the Atrium program and then on stage at Malcolm Forbes Amphitheater. The free concert, made possible by the generosity of an anonymous donor to the Foundation, drew nearly 200 community members and medical center personnel. Sherry Wang, a board member of the Newark Boys Chorus School and a Foundation Brookfield Society member introduced the talented singers, who sang a few songs on stage and then strode down the aisles engaging the audience in a participatory number.
