The Magical Masquerade benefit, held Oct. 29, 2010, at The Bernards Inn (Bernardsville), in tribute to the late Mrs. Marge Goryeb, drew 225 guests and raised more than $65,000 for the Children’s Heart Center at Goryeb Children's Hospital.
The Children’s Heart Center conducts approximately 4,500 patient evaluations and performs more than 5,000 echocardiograms and 6,000 EKGs annually. These tests are essential to early detection of life-threatening heart disorders and diseases. Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase a new echocardiography machine, which is needed to help our physicians continue to provide premiere cardiac care to thousands of pediatric patients.
The crowd also joined Joe Goryeb, Sr. in celebrating his 80th birthday.
