At the 19th Annual Wellness Lecture on November 10, featured guest speaker David L. Katz, MD, and a panel of experts from Goryeb Children's Hospital – Christopher Lynch, PhD; Leslie Sanders, MD; and David G. Scott – gave the community practical advice on raising a healthy child. Dr.Katz, who is known for his expertise on nutrition, weight management and chronic disease prevention, focused on childhood obesity, while the panel weighed in on everything from eating disorders and exercise to psychological well-being and sexuality.
